About MPA

The Malmsbury Progress Association works to foster a sense of community in Malmsbury through encouraging, planning and assisting in the implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for the residents Malmsbury and its broader community. We envisage the association having a strong voice in advocating for the community of Malmsbury at various levels of government and other authorities, something that many residents feel has been absent in the past.

We encourage Malmsbury and nearby residents to become members of the association, your support and input will assist us in advocating and supporting Malmsbury residents and our various community groups. Already, many community groups have indicated their commitment to a strong, vibrant and transparent advocacy group for the town.

The Malmsbury Progress Association an incorporated association, registered with Consumer Affairs Victoria. Membership rates are $10 single, $15 family, $20 community group and membership entitles you to vote at an Annual General Meeting.

Acknowledgment of Country

The Malmsbury Progress Association acknowledges the Dja Dja Wurrung and Taungurung Peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of this land and waterways. We recognise their living cultures and ongoing connection to Country and pay respect to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We also acknowledges local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander residents of Macedon Ranges for their ongoing contribution to the diverse culture of our community.
